Twitter Poetry Project

I'm undertaking a new project: a long poem written day-by-day via Twitter. The intent is to explore juxtapositions of private thought into public fora, the language of poetry rendered in real time in the space of the technological and quotidian. To do so is to embrace a form of poetry that interjects nodes or moments of perception into the fragmentation of our modern lives, de-centering poetic text from its conventional contexts and associations. It is my hope that other poets will reply, so that the poem radiates both inward to and outward from its core.  To follow the project: http://twitter.com/anneshaw
